To use the OYBike System you will need to become a member of OYBike. Hire rates are shown in the table below:

After that each day or part of a day will be charged at £8.00.
Corporate customers can negotiate a fixed fee for any number of staff to use the scheme. Once the scheme is running we can provide breakdowns of use on a regular basis for accounting and tax puposes. Please contact us for full details of our prices if your company is interested in joining the scheme.
The charges are liable to be changed without prior notice. Details of the new charges will be sent to users via the most appropriate method.
Payment
OYBike operate a 'pay as you go' scheme. At registration you will be charged £10 for rental fees. This forms your initial credit balance for OYbike hires and this balance will be debited for each journey. Once your balance reaches £3 or below you will be billed at the end of that month for the any journeys taken bringing your account back to a £10 credit balance. Billing through this method enables us to keep our administration charges down to a minimum and keep the costs to you as low as possible. We do not accept cash payments and all payments will be taken through the debit/credit card used at signup.
Every month there is activity on your account, you will be emailed a monthly statement showing your account usage.
Damage waiver
An optional Damage waiver scheme against theft or damage of the bike whilst it is in your care is available at a cost of £10.00 per annum. This is not compulsory, however, members without this or any other insurance cover are potentially liable to pay the full cost of replacing the hired bike in the event of loss or damage. Please note that personal injury insurance is not included in the scheme.
Refunds policy
A full refund of the will be given if the member writes to OYBike within 14 days of the original registration date. No refund will normally be given after that date except under exceptional circumstances and is at the discretion of OYBike. Discretional refunds for hire of bikes will be made where it is shown that the OYBike or one of its agents has been at fault. As it is the member’s responsibility to check the bike before use for safety and roadworthiness a refund will not normally be made for such defects. In the case of punctures the hirer must call the OYBike call centre.
